The PRODUCTION MANAGER will oversee and coordinate all aspects of physical production services from the initial walk-through to the final performance and load out. The Production Manager will recruit, hire, supervise and manage all sound, lighting, and projection technicians and any staff reporting to them. The PM will be expected to coordinate, supervise, and be available as a hands-on presence for the installation, maintenance, and inventory of technical equipment. Outstanding communication skills and organizational skills are a must. Working with the lighting and audio professionals, the PM will establish technical schedules/deadlines, determine overhire needs and facilitate communication with creative staff to respective departments for each production.

The Production Manager will manage department budgets and will also be responsible for implementing new equipment and arranging training for staff. Most importantly, the Production Manager will be hyper-organized and will generate and disseminate detailed and consistent production advances to all event and venue stakeholders. This position will work closely with a wide variety of artists and performers and will need to understand the various requirements for dance, musical theater, concerts, opera, cinema, and more. This person will need to be a compelling leader who can prioritize schedules and work calmly under pressure.

Salary: $70K-$80K, plus benefits.
