Conference of the Birds is a multimedia movement theater work by ANIKAYA Dance Theater, inspired by the 12th century poem of Farid Ud din Attar, and embodying stories gathered from modern-day refugees and other migrants. The play is directed by choreographer Wendy Jehlen in collaboration with an ensemble of dancer/choreographers from from Benin, Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, India/South Africa, Palestine, Taiwan and Turkey, with original music and projections created by an international team from France, Iran and the US.

Running Time: 70 minutes, no intermission
Audience Advisory: This production will utilize theatrical fog/haze

Access Performances:
All performances are inherently Deaf-accessible. ASL interpretation will be provided for the post-performance talk-back on March 2

Masking:
Masks optional for all staff and audience members

Ticket Prices:
Standard: $65
Students: $25
Card to Culture: $1

Note: Card to Culture tickets are available in limited quantities for every performance to EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders (or similar programs from other states). Card to Culture tickets must be picked up at the ASA box office (eligible cards must be presented at time of pickup and should match the name on the tickets).

All ticket prices include all service fees. There are no additional charges.

Accessible Seats:
Row A is on the main floor level and is accessible to those who use wheelchairs and other mobility devices, and those who are unable to climb steps. Each row beginning with Row B requires climbing steps as indicated on the seat selection page. Row A will have theater chairs provided for those who need accessible seats and their companions with the exception of wheelchair locations (designated in blue on the seating selection chart).
